Hostels have changed dramatically over the years...with 'private' as well as 'dorm' rooms, you no longer have to share with strangers. All bedding & towels are supplied, all rooms are ensuite with tea/coffee making facilities...so like a motel, but with the added benefit of self-catering to help keep your costs down and the opportunity to meet like-minded guests in the 'Common-room' lounge/diner. Great for solo travellers, couples, families as well as groups. Free car-park, free WiFi, covered bike shed (own lock required). On the Glasgow/Campbeltown bus route makes us ideal for those using public transport and we welcome walkers, cyclists, motor bikers and car drivers touring the area or island hopping.
