The garden is the perfect setting for your marquee, tipi or whatever you decide to have for your special day.  We can accommodate from two to two hundred guests.

"The Butler's Quarters" is a self-catering apartment within Ardkinglas and is a truly unique holiday venue; you are transported back nearly 100 years in terms of accommodation but fortunately with all the comforts of modern-day life!

The apartment is on the ground floor of Ardkinglas House but has its own door leading off the private gardens. The setting is breathtaking; step out of the apartment and look over the garden and terraces to fabulous views of Loch Fyne and beyond. You will experience the complete freedom of enjoying the spectacular landscape, natural environment, designed gardens and iconic architecture of Ardkinglas The accommodation is spacious, with a traditional dining kitchen with all the facilities you could need and with a washing machine, a roomy, cosy living room with dining area and a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

There are two bedrooms, sleeping up to five people. A cot and high chair are available on request. All linen and towels are provided. There is also internet access, but this can be intermittent, due to where we are. Situated on the shores of Loch Fyne in Argyll, against a spectacular background of mountain and forest, Ardkinglas Estate covers about 4800 hectares. Ardkinglas House is an architectural gem and provides a very special setting for weddings, photo shoots, filming and other events. There is self-catering accommodation within the house. The Woodland Garden is open all year round with an outstanding collection of plants and trees, including the "Mightiest Conifer in Europe". There are House Tours available most Fridays from April to October, so booking is essential.
