Come and experience Scotland from a different perspective. We operate in the beautiful Clyde Estuary and its sea lochs, running regular scheduled public trips at weekends in the spring and summer seasons. We were delighted to receive a Trip Advisor Travellers Choice Award in 2023. Reviews give us a 5* rating.
Our boat is comfortable, spacious, and stable. It takes a maximum of twelve people and has outdoor & warm indoor seating for all passengers who can move freely inside and out as scenery or weather dictates. There is a toilet, complimentary tea, coffee & local Helensburgh tablet, and on all trips, our crew will provide individual commentary and written information about your surroundings. Our most popular trip is the one-hour trip from Rhu Marina, which runs along the seafront of Helensburgh and then out to visit the Sugar Boat Wreck close up. This iconic wreck can be clearly seen from the Helensburgh promenade, but not everyone knows the story. Read and hear about the history behind this local landmark during your trip. On this trip it is often possible to view seals basking nearby, or if you are very lucky, porpoises or even dolphins.
We also offer longer trips, to Loch Long, the Erskine Bridge, the Holy Loch, Kip Marina – the last two offering time ashore for coffee, a snack, or a walk. Our 2 hour Clyde Estuary trip has no specific destination: its route changes from week to week, but just offers the sheer pleasure of being on the water. Our boat, skipper and crew, can also be hired privately and can go to any of our scheduled destinations, or further afield and for longer. Our website lists various possibilities.
