Discover the magic of Scotland\'s West Coast onboard VIC 32
Join us aboard VIC 32, the last steam-powered Clyde Puffer - at a steady six knots little can equal the peace of silent steam!
Whether you’re looking to escape to a bygone era, visit hidden locations, capture magical sunsets, enjoy delicious food or participate in running a traditional steamboat – we’ve got the adventure for you!
Our cruising season is split into three; the Firth of Clyde; the Sound of Jura and the Caledonian Canal. Each area offers a different experience for our 10 passengers. For shorter excursions, we offer limited full day trips departing from Crinan or Tarbert.
During your holiday you may relax or participate in the vessel\'s operations from steering in the wheelhouse or helping to keep up steam in the engine room – now operating on biofuel! Guided walks and excursions to a range of sights are tailored to the interests of passengers. Food is at the heart of VIC 32 and nourishing meals featuring local producers are provided from Sunday afternoon until the following Friday tea. Drinks are available from our small bar.
The accommodation aboard VIC 32 is cosy and intimate. The main cabin with its wooden dining table, piano and stove provides the hub for activities aboard. On the lower deck, four cabins provide berths in either twin or double configuration as well as two modern shared bathrooms with endless hot water.
