Also on site are an indoor pool, an outside heated infinity pool and gym facilities. If you both enjoy beer, why not also take a trip to Fyne Ales and book a brewery tour (available Saturdays and Sundays), where you’ll hear about the history of the estate home, their two breweries, and how they make their award-winning beer. You can also check out their shop and enjoy a Fyne ale in their beer garden.

Take Romantic Walks

Kilmun Arboretum is a great hillside woodland with over 150 tree species. Look out for red squirrels and pine martins while you’re there. Why not also take a promenade along the coast of the Firth of Clyde at the East and West Bays of Dunoon. The waters are well populated with sea life animals, such as dolphins, porpoises, seals, otters, and a myriad of sea birds, including gannets and eider ducks. If you also fancy a bit of an adventure walk you can hike up one of the mountains in the area, such as Beinn Mhor, the highest mountain in Cowal. It offers stunning views of Loch Eck, the Clyde Estuary and north and west to the Highlands and islands.
