Kevin McGarry is a fine artist and professional photographer/artist, born and now based in Scotland. He combines 35 years of University teaching and fine art research to create stunning, surreal images of the Scottish landscape. Kevin has built up an impressive client list and a variety of commissions including several Royal Events, as well as covering the London Olympics, Glasgow 2014 and the Gold Coast Games for Team Scotland. He has also worked on a personal level for well know athletes such as Sir Mo Farah, Sir Chris Hoy, Usain Bolt and Ellie Doyle, and has covered major sporting events, including the Tour de France and London marathon. He also works frequently with various charities, in particular Guide Dogs For The Blind. Kevin is energetic and hard working and has himself run 49 marathons around the world, with a personal best of 2hrs 49 mins of which he is ludicrously proud (he reckons you have to have a good sense of humour to run that far!). He has exhibited in solo and group shows in the UK and internationally. Worked as Access and Educational Co-ordinator for Folkestone Triennial an International public art show with 27 artists. Kevin now lives on the west coast of Scotland with his partner Lesley and a long-suffering ginger cat called Pru.
